TEPADINA는 HSCT 전처치 적응증으로 FDA와 EMA 양 기관의 승인을 모두 획득한 최초의 thiotepa 제제입니다.

또한 국내에서는 의약품동등성시험의 thiotepa성분 대조약(reference listed drug)으로 지정되어 있어, 오리지널 제품으로서의 위상을 다시 한번 입증하고 있습니다.

특히 TEPADINA는 국내 유일의 400mg 고용량 thiotepa 제형으로, 밀폐형 약물전달장치(CSTD)와 호환 가능한 멀티챔버백(MCB) 설계를 적용하여 조제 과정을 간소화하고 취급 오류를 줄이며, 의료진의 안전성 향상에 기여합니다.

SciGen Korea is pleased to announce that TEPADINA® (Thiotepa), a conditioning agent used prior to Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT), has been listed and is now being supplied to several major university hospitals in Korea – including Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Daegu Catholic University Medical Center, and Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital.

 

TEPADINA is the first thiotepa product approved by both the FDA and EMA for HSCT conditioning. In Korea, it also serves as the reference listed drug for bioequivalence testing, underscoring its status as the original product.

 

Notably, TEPADINA is the only thiotepa formulation in Korea available in a 400 mg high‑dose presentation. Its dual‑chamber bag design, compatible with closed system transfer devices (CSTD), helps simplify preparation, reduce handling errors, and enhance safety for healthcare professionals.

 

The listing at leading transplant centers represents an important step in expanding treatment options for HSCT patients in Korea and reflects SciGen’s continued commitment to advancing its hematology and oncology portfolio.
